Superbowl Party Wine Parings

At the beginning (or even toward the end) of this year’s football season who’d of thought the Cardinals would ever be in the Superbowl?!?! But, having growing up in neighboring-state California, I’m planning to put on the red and root for the Arizonia Cardinals this weekend. And, just in case the game and commercials suck, we’re planning to do a Football Food Wine Paring at the superbowl party we’re heading to. Here’s what we’re paring:

* Norton with Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Summer Sausage and Crackers
* Chambourcin with BBQ Beef Brisket
* Butterfly Blush with Little Smokies in Spicy BBQ Sauce
* Vignoles with Smoked Pork Tenderloin
* Late-Harvest Vignoles with Strawberries
* Critter Cuvee with with Naked Popcorn
* Nort with warm, Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mmm….I’m getting hungry and thirsty. And ready for football this weekend!

2008 Jowler Creek Chambourcin Release Party Set for November 15 & 16, 2008


You’ve patiently waited all year for the release of our 2007 Chambourcin…thanks for your patience! The good news is we’re now just a few days away from releasing this high-quality, light-bodied red wine. It’s with soft tannins and a fruit-forward appeal. It’s the perfect mate for grilled beef and portabella mushrooms oryour favorite red-sauced pizza.

Be one of the first to taste this wine and come out to our Chambourcin Release party on November 15 & 16. Or if you’re a Creek Club member come out to the wine tasting room just North of Kansas City, Missouri this weekend to be one of the first to try this Missouri wine!
